The challenge is always to identify the solution that allows the customer to use the maximum available area by stocking as many pallets as possible.
In this case, the need of the customer, an important Italian manufacturer of adhesives for industrial applications, is to store pallets of three different sizes depending on whether the goods on pallets are raw materials, semi-finished products or finished products.
A gravity pallet-carrying plant was therefore designed with a LIFO storage system with lanes of three different sizes. Each lane accommodates 5 pallets deep for three levels of height.
